Why not just a scheduler API

Most agent APIs can post.
Ours can also make the post.

Pylot already knows your brand — voice rules, colours, logo, what performed. Agents call generate_captions and generate_image and get on-brand output, not a blank text box. Then they schedule it through the same pipeline the dashboard uses.

Can an agent publish without me knowing?

No. create_post always makes a draft. Going live needs publish_post with confirm: true (or a scheduled time you set). Both are marked destructive so MCP clients can ask for approval.

Which plans include the API?

Every plan can create keys. The key inherits your plan: its limits and your credit balance apply exactly as in the dashboard.

What does it cost?

Captions are free. Image generation uses 1 credit from your monthly allocation and is refunded if generation fails. Publishing and scheduling are free.

Is it REST or MCP?

Both, over the same code. Use the MCP server from Claude, Cursor, Codex or OpenClaw; use the REST API (with an OpenAPI spec) from ChatGPT Actions, n8n, Zapier, Make or your own code.
