Connect ChatGPT to Pylot

In Pylot, open Settings → API keys and create a key. It starts with pyl_live_.
In ChatGPT, create a GPT and open its Configure tab.
Under Actions, select Create new action and import the schema from the URL above.
Set Authentication to API key with Auth type Bearer, and paste your key.
Save the GPT and ask it for a post.

Does Pylot work with ChatGPT?

Yes, through a custom GPT action. Import Pylot's OpenAPI schema and authenticate with your API key as a bearer token. The action calls the same REST API and services as the MCP server, so it can generate captions and images, create drafts and schedule them.

Will the posts sound like my business?

Yes. generate_captions writes in the brand voice Pylot learned from your website, and generate_image applies your colours, logo and style automatically. Your agent asks for the post; Pylot makes it on-brand.

Can my GPT publish without asking me?

Not by accident. Creating a post makes a draft unless you give it a time, and publishing right away needs confirm set to true. Unless you ask for one of those, every post waits in your Pylot calendar.

What does it cost?

Captions are free. Each generated image uses 1 credit from your plan and is refunded if generation fails. Drafting, scheduling and publishing are free. The key uses the same plan, limits and credit balance as your dashboard.
